Fall City Murder-Suicide: Teen boy in custody after domestic-related incident left 5 dead in the 7700 block of Lake Alice Road Southeast
Five people were killed in a domestic violence episode inside a Fall City home early Monday morning, leading to the arrest of a teenage boy who may face murder charges.
The incident occurred in the 7700 block of Lake Alice Road Southeast in Fall City just before five in the morning on Monday, according to a King County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson.
“Law enforcement from all over the area responded to multiple 911 calls about a shooting at a home in an unincorporated part of Fall City,” stated KCSO Deputy Mike Mellis of the sheriff’s office during a press conference. Deputies discovered many dead victims inside the house when they got there.
Five persons were killed, including three minors and two adults, according to several paramedics and first responders.
According to the report, other victims hid during the assault in a bathroom within the house and phoned the police from there.
Around 10:30 a.m., King County Sheriff Patti Cole-Tindall expressed her sadness and distress at receiving the call about the incident.
According to deputies, one of the victims, a teenager hurt in the event, received assistance from a neighbor with medical training. For treatment, that sufferer was brought to Harborview Medical Center.
It was a “traumatic scene,” according to Deputy Mellis, and the office is attempting to obtain a search warrant from a local judge so that they may conduct an investigation and collect evidence from the house.
To get the “quick and dirty version of the story,” investigators spoke with a few injured people; however, as of Monday morning, those information have not been made public. Potential witnesses who might know more about the incident are currently being questioned by detectives.
After autopsies are finished, the King County medical examiner, who arrived on the scene, will reveal the identities of the deceased. According to Mellis, no additional information was available on the severity of the victims’ injuries or demises. None of the victims’ identities or ages have been made public.
Mellis stated that each of the adults lived in the house, but she would not confirm if they were the parents of the other teenagers participating in the incident.
In relation to the event, one juvenile boy was arrested and is currently being held at the King County Juvenile Detention Center.
Each victim’s cause and manner of death are yet unknown, and the scene is still being investigated.
With assistance from the Washington State Patrol, which will handle the majority of the crime scene forensic work, the Major Crimes Unit is spearheading the homicide investigation, according to Mellis.
