Daniel L Heath Obituary-Death News; 63-Years Old Daniel L. Heath Killed In Tompkins County Crash

On October 30, a fatal accident occurred in the Town of Dryden, resulting in the death of one individual. The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as 63-year-old Daniel L. Heath, a resident of Dryden.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement personnel arrived at the intersection of West Dryden Road and Sheldon Road at approximately 5:45 p.m. in response to reports of a two-vehicle accident involving injuries.

The investigation revealed that Heath was operating his vehicle on Sheldon Road and failed to yield at a stop sign, which led to the crash. He was subsequently transported to SUNY Upstate Medical Center by LifeNet, where he was pronounced deceased.

The driver of the other vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to Upstate Medical Center by ambulance, as reported by the Sheriff’s Office.

Assistance at the scene was provided by the Freeville Fire Department, Dryden Fire Department, Dryden Ambulance, Lansing Fire Department, and the West Milford NJ Police Department.
