The founder of the Flibusta online library, Stiver, is said to have died by assisted suicide. It is quite likely that Stiver, the creator of the pirate library Flibusta, has been put to death by euthanasia.
He had previously announced that he had been diagnosed with glioblastoma and that the facility would be shuttered, but the library was still operating as usual.
Stiver, the founder of Flibusta, was said to have probably committed euthanasia, according to a message put on the library’s website.
The diagnosis of glioblastoma was made public in September for Stiver, whose real name is unknown. He also revealed that the website will be closing down right away. It became clear after a while that the library would continue to offer its services.
Established in 2009, Flibusta is a free, non-commercial online pirate library that allows users to read and download books without having to pay for them.
