Vinnie Ciavone Obituary Michigan: Motor City Karts mourn the loss of beloved team member killed in tragic Saturday accident

It is with a heavy heart to announce the sudden passing of one of our own, Vinnie Ciavone, Motor City Karts announced via a Facebook post on Monday, October 21, 2024.

According to reports, Vinnie Ciavone was in an accident involving a golf cart on Saturday evening, October 19, 2024. Unfortunately, Vinnie succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.

“He {Vinnie} was an exceptional team member and dear friend of ours. His absence will be profoundly felt. We extend our sincere condolences to Sarah, family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. Motor City Karts will be taking some time away to process and grieve his sudden loss. Thank you for understanding,” Motor City Karts said.

“From causing a ruckus in the shores in middle school, having competitions for who can fit the most people in their van in highschool,(being the only 2 who drove a van) partying in Miami, jetsking on st. Clair, and all the hundreds of times in between, You were always the guy to call if you needed something, and if you weren’t the guy, then you knew a guy. Then was a man of your word for making it happen. RIP Vinnie Ciavone,” another post said.
