Pete Samara Obituary: F1, F1TV mourn the loss USA Grand Prix Black armband holder, Pete Samara – Cause Of Death
The United States Grand Prix was set to begin in Austin, Texas, however the start of the race was not as smooth as it usually would have been.
During the pre-race presentation, the F1TV presenters were required to wear black armbands while they carried out their duties. After the investigation was finished, it was determined that Pete Samara’s death was the cause of his passing.
During her time working with Formula One, Samara was the Director of Innovation and Digital Technology.
In other words, Samara was the one directly in charge of managing the broadcast that was being shown and directing the live action that was shown on the screens. According to the information posted on his LinkedIn profile, Samara held this employment for a total of seven years and four months.
His previous position, which he held for a duration similar to the positions he presently occupies, was that of R&D Group Manager. Samara spent fourteen years and ten months competing at the top level of motorsport. This is how much hours she spent competing in total.
The cause of his death has not been established as of the publication of this article. Andre Venema, a writer for Formula One Magazine, said Samara died “unexpectedly” at the age of 52. Since no evident cause has been found yet, it is logical that the Formula One community is confused.
