Stourbridge Stabbing: 18-year-old identified among for arrested in Kidderminster’s Horsefair stabbing
Following last night’s (Saturday, October 19) stabbing on Kidderminster’s Dudley Street, West Mercia Police have issued a call for witnesses.
When officers arrived at the Pizza Lounge takeout after receiving a complaint of an incident at 6:10 p.m., they discovered that one man had been stabbed outside. At takeout, windows seem to have been broken.
The 28-year-old was sent to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Four individuals, ages 18, 34, 35, and 37, were then taken into custody by officers on suspicion of intentionally hurting someone.
“First and foremost, I would like to reassure the local community that we believe this to be an isolated incident and that there is no wider threat,” stated Emma Whitworth, Detective Chief Inspector. I understand that a headline like this can be very concerning, but rest assured that a comprehensive inquiry is already underway.
“Violent acts of this nature are not acceptable in our communities, and I kindly ask anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could aid our investigation to come forward.”
