It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden loss of legendary producer in the tight-knit freestyle community, Chris Barbosa.

The most important producer, the most amazing master mind in the Electro Dance & Freestyle. Legendary producer Chris Barbosa, responsible for several groundbreaking Electro-Freestyle hits back in the 80s, including “Let the Music Play” and “Give Me Tonight” by Shannon, “On the Upside” by Xena, and “My Heart Gets All the Breaks” by Monet.

Chris’ cause of death was not immediately mentioned. He will be sorely missed by family, friends and the general freestyle community.
