NSW Parliament House Shooting: Active Shooter, Police Identify Man who Fired Gel Blaster Behind NSW Parliament
Law enforcement agencies in New South Wales, Australia have identified the man who reportedly fired a gel blaster at the NSW Parliament House this afternoon. Police are looking for the man identified as middle aged individual who shot a gel blaster multiple times behind the NSW Parliament.
Police received allegations that a man was seen discharging what appeared to be a replica firearm into the ground on Hospital Road shortly after 1 p.m. on Thursday. NSW Police said the man who allegedly shot the weapon fled the scene in a car before authorities arrived.
The crime scene has been established. There have been no injuries recorded. Several police cars gathered near The Domain, where officials were searching the area. After observing someone acting suspiciously, Parliament workers notified the police.
