Jeffrey Moss Obituary-Death News; ISP Investigating Pedestrian Death In Peru After Being Hit By Vehicle
A man from Logansport, Indiana, tragically died after being struck by a minivan while crossing US 24 on Friday night. The Indiana State Police are currently investigating the incident, which occurred just after 9:00 p.m. on US 24, near County Road 550 East.
Authorities report that the area surrounding the road was dark when 66-year-old Jeffrey Moss attempted to cross from the south side to the north side of US 24. As he crossed the road, a minivan, driven by a woman from Peru, collided with him.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and pronounced Moss dead. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and while toxicology reports are still pending, police do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
