Jeff Fleury Obituary-Death News; Fleury Law Firm lawyer and founder died at 54

Jeff Fleury, lawyer and founder of Fleury Law Firm in Metro-Detroit has passed away.

He was announced dead on the November 6th, 2024. Jeffrey James Fleury affectionately known to many as Jeff Fleury died at the age of 54. No cause of death has been reported.

Who was Jeff Fleury?
Jeff was a dedicated professional and a beloved community figure. He graduated from Brother Rice High School, Michigan State University, and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.

After thriving in various law firms, Jeff founded the Fleury Law Firm, where he earned multiple accolades, including being named a National and Michigan Super Lawyer from 2011 to 2017 and DBusiness’s Top Collection Lawyer from 2010 to 2017.

Outside of his legal career, Jeff was passionate about sports, founding the Rochester Rays baseball organization and coaching young athletes. He was also a founding member of Building Bridges, a charity that has supported children in Detroit and Pontiac for over 25 years.

Known for his integrity, resilience, and humor, Jeff was an inspiring figure who touched many lives. He will be remembered for his lighthearted spirit and the lasting legacy he left through his family, especially his children, who continue his joyful, fun-loving spirit.

Survived and Preceded in death by
Survived by his parent Frank and Karen Fleury, dedicated father of Madelyn, Meghan, and Jack Fleury, beloved brother of Matt (Stacy) Fleury, cherished uncle of Frank, Charlie and Peter Fleury, grandson of Marian Jelley and mother of his children Julie Fleury.

Jeff was preceded in death by his grandfather James Jelley and grandparents Ralph and Marie Fleury.

A visitation for Jeff will be held Friday November 15th from 3 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. with reflection service at 7pm Potere-Modetz funeral home 339 Walnut Blvd Rochester.

The funeral service will be held Saturday November 16th at St. Andrew Catholic Church 1400 Inglewood Ave Rochester with in state visitation starting at 11:30 a.m. and mass at noon.
